The Park Poem by Josey Alfred

The Park

A choice place for all those seek
To escape cares of city life!
And get freedom from crowds and strife’s
And to walk in paths of nature’s gifts.

You try reach early, to take your place
You be alone or with beloved
Relax your mind unfold your dreams
And sway in them at ease and peace.

You pay no rent or legal fee,
Stay long as long as you feel free.
Sharing the dreams you both cherish,
And melt the ice, blocking your goal.

A landscape fit for all to stroll
As long as you just want to dwell
Until dawn proclaim day break
And push you to daily chaos of life.

The parks help us afford and avail!
Some freedom from chocking restraints
And constraints that simmer in our mind
And forget all cares and relax a while

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
In the over crowded Cities where majority of the poor people are forced to live without proper housing or amenities, the public parks offer privacy and very often space to dwell and discuss intimate and natural needs. The parks become a blessing to those
unfortunate men and women, forced to live in the metros and big sities.

Thank you Madam, The plight of the poor people in any city is the same, they may have some means for existence, but no shelter or privacy. So a park often becomes a paradise for him. Thank you for your opinion and feeling for the poor.

You are so correct sir! For those who stay in crowded cities and in crammed apartments, a public park offers a joyous retreat to relax and unwind. There they can sit quiet or roam freely enjoying open air through green patches of land or tiled or cobbled pavements..... forgetting the grind of daily life. A beautiful write!
