The Poemhunter Virus Poem by Shaun Cronick

There is a person on this site who is a virus.
And like all viruses it attacks all life forms.
Human life forms that is.
Poetess's and poets alike.
Almost on a 24 hour basis.
It is relentless.
It emerged from Australia.
Where its original heartless shape still dwells.
It's a nasty little thing.
And like a virus it shape shifts.
It evolves.
It transforms.
It can change from a so called man,
Into a woman.
Or women.
It pretends to be your friend.
When in all reality it's your enemy.
A wolf in sheep's clothing.
Good Heavens! ...
Why butter wouldn't melt in his mouth.
Or her mouth.
It is fuelled by hate.
Consumed with jealously.
It makes cowardly off-line comments.
Using good members good names.
With endless vile and unprovoked comments.
A virus filled with its own poison.
And unfortunately it's entrenched here,
Like a limpet.
A limpet mine ready to explode again.
Again unfortunately this virus, man, woman, women, whatever,
Is here to stay among us.
But there's always a cure.
To end its so childish and cowardly ways.
And the sooner the better for everyone.

No doubt it/he/she/doppelganger/spammer has read this,
And is now planning or plotting something downright,
Mean, shallow, spiteful, devious, diabolical, cruel and nasty.
Well bring it on.
