Studying at Medical School and gaining honours
Going on to study PHD Clinical Psychology
Understanding complex scientific studies
Theories, experiments with experience
His knowledge unlimited and unquestioned.

Working at first in difficult atmospheric prisons
Examining prisoners with their criminal psychology
Understanding their violent and aggressive behaviour
The determined prison psychologist a saviour
But never forgiving prisoners' or doing them a favour.

Working with vulnerable mental health patients
Enjoying helping the mentally ill get better
Although not reading every heartfelt letter
Sent to the mental health patient's family
Knowing the patient safe in hospital and getting better.

With many facets for the work of psychologists
Every part of healthcare needing medical experts
A job no professional psychologist does desert
For going through Medical School is an achievement
The psychologist helping people and not admitting defeat.
