The Rays Burning Bright Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

The Rays Burning Bright

R-ain is nowhere in view,
O-n fifth morn January;
N-ew dawn meets the sun
A-bove the silent sea.
L-et Wednesday twilight pass, let the dusk disappear;
D-on't let the shadows stay, conquer the doubts and fear.

E-arly Thursday morning,
M-ist and haze fade away;
B-eacon begins to rise,
U-nderneath the skyway.
I-t's a wonderful day,
E-ach cloud is pristine white;
D-eep ocean shows reflection
O-f the rays burning bright.
