In the mystic moments of Winter's silent scene
Lies a realm of moonlight, so precious and serene
That glows in frozen splendor above the leafless trees
And leads the mind to wander in ancient mysteries
So surreal and entrancing, it rules the endless sky
In mesmerizing wonder to the slumbering eye
This dreamland of the ages, adrift in silver haze
Shines through my bedroom window, and to its mists, I gaze.
