The Resurrection - Thirdday

The resurrection - third day

On the third day he arose, from a tomb that was enclosed
It was Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James
Who saw him walking on top of the hill that day
As they fell to their knees and began to pray.
They was told ny JESUS: no! I have not yet ascended to the father "
Go tell the others!
She rushed to the disciples announcing" we have seen the Lord "
But a woman s voice was not given accord.

On the road two of JESUS followers were talking about
The things that came about, as JESUS approached
And walked with them and was told of howthe chief priests
Had JESUS crucified because they were in doubt.

JESUS then gave them a history lesson starting with Moses
And all the prophets and how all this was meant to be
And of sin they could be free.
Their eyes were covered so they could not see his face
Till he went to their house and broke bread in their place
After blessing the breaking of the bread he disappeared
Thentold the apostles of how he appeared.
