2018 Year Of The Women
2018 year of the women
This is the year of the women to be free of abuse
No more a tool for man s personal use
Men have forgotten that from women they came
Nine months of joys and bodily pains.
They are mothers, sisters and aunts too
You don't know what they've gone through.
So many have kept silent afraid to speak
Because they felt ashamed, humble and weak.
Now women are standing up for their rights
And are joining forces ready to fight.
The question always arises that they tempted the man
It's that women s fashions they don't understand
Women are screaming from the mountain tops
"This abuse has got to stop."
A wonderful poem for women. Women must be afforded all the rights and protection as provided for by law. Abuses against them must be abhorred. Thank you for this offering.

if we as poets constantly remind people of the sacrifices and pains and compassion of women then the world will become a better place to live. the Lord said the meak shall inherit the earth and it gets me to wonder if he meant the women!
