The Rich Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

The Rich

Rating: 5.0

And I ordered a glass
Of whisky
With ice cubes and soda
To make it smooth

The waiter asked me
Out of curiosity, of course,
How I managed to have liquor
Every night

I laughed
What was this life
If you did not have a family
And a job

He was surprised
Where from I got money
If I did not have a job

That was a secret
I smiled
My forefathers have
Left enough for me and
If there would be ever
For my family

To spend time in a bar
