The Rubaiyat Of sylvia Frances Chan Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

The Rubaiyat Of sylvia Frances Chan

Rating: 3.4

This poem is in Rubaiyat format, aaba end rhymes.

1. I feel it as enormous bliss
to have the chance to become an evangelist
I must confess it's my dear Mother's strength
her constant love and inside wish

2. I do not preach on streets nor church
talking about the Lord is my constant search
that people know who God exactly is
to tell about the Holy Trinity is my utmost urge

3. God our Father in heaven on His Golden throne
Jesus His Only Son who suffered deepest pain alone
but three days after His death He is arisen
such greatest might and highest power has He alone

4. I tell you about Moses who received from God
the Ten Commandments on mount Sinaï spot
when Moses went down to his folk, his face was shining brightest
imagine Moses with the Ten Commandments on that spot?

5. As you know Moses was raised by the Egyptians
He lived in the palace as Prince Moses, then he must escape to the Midians
All these stories in the Bible about ancient times
Is very interesting to know he was found as a baby
by an Princess of the Egyptians
