The Sea Of Tranquillity Poem by Mark Dillon

The Sea Of Tranquillity

Rating: 4.8

Come let's walk, just you and me
by the sea of tranquillity.
Let's talk of things as yet undone.
Let's make plans to do as one.

Let's make love beneath the canopy
of a million bright stars and moon to see.
As they reflect off the mirror of the deep blue sea.
To feel the salty air as it sweeps over our skin,
while our passionate embrace keeps us warm within.

Let's lay together beneath the soft moonlight
on a quilt of love by the firelight.
'Til the morning sun touches the sky
and we waken from our slumber to the seagulls cry.

Let's take the time to hold and behold.
To walk along the sands of gold.
In this time of great uncertainty,
let; s be loving wild and free.
So, come let's walk, just you and me
by the sea of tranquillity.

The fate of this planet is within my domain and mankinds decisions to cherish life or be slain.
