The Sensual Siren Of The Sixties Poem by Francis Duggan

The Sensual Siren Of The Sixties

The sensual siren of the sixties with blond dye she covers her gray
But her sense of pride cannot hide the true facts and her physical appearance a give away
That quite obviously she is ageing and she has known a better day
Time wears the gloss off of great beauty old time is the monarch of decay.

The sensual siren of the sixties last April she turned sixty five
And though she has lost some of her beauty she still feels very much alive
She looks more like one in her forties she has had a face lift or two
Amazing for the physical appearance what a plastic surgeon can do.

She still looks quite sensual for her age but nothing in comparison to what she used to be
In her twenties and into her thirties none more sexy or beautiful than she
But time it erodes all great beauty and time takes care of one and all
And the ageing one in her mid sixties not the beauty we like to recall.

The sensual siren of the sixties for her age she looks quite okay
Her personal war is on ageing with blond dye she covers her gray
She was such an attractive looking woman and her many men wished to know
But that was way back in the sixties and that was a long time ago.
