THE SOLE OF MY SHOES!

I have placed studs under both my shoes,
And horse shoes under the heels!
To prevent it from wearing out, especially
at the heels!
But alas, even the great Achilles had soft
heels!
And soon with age when my legs grow
weak,
And it becomes a burden to lift those feet, -
Let my soul never accept any defeat!
So now walk with naked feet once more,
My childhood days are not lost for sure!
Let my soul be preserved from wear and
tear,
The arrow’s sting on my heel - I can always
bear!
