God gave us the Sun
To give us all life,
God gave us the Sun
To remove the darkness and strife.

It melts away the snow
And it brings forth all living,
It causes the flowers to bloom and seeds to grow
The Sun is always giving.

God gave us the Son
To give us his light,
God gave us the Son
To protect us in the darkest night.

The Son keeps us warm
And he keeps us protected,
He shelters us from the storm
And he has never neglected.

God gave us the Son/ Sun
To give us all life and love,
God gave us the Son/ Sun
From Heaven above.
