The Stranger Poem by Robin Patir

The Stranger

Oh the stranger sitting in front of me
Whose beauty captivate my heart at first sight.
I don't know your name
From where you are
And whom you love.
Just thinking I completed a cup of coffee.
I ordered for another one.
When I looked into your eyes
My heart said your eyes are beautiful.
But your smile is the most beautiful.
You couldn't hear.
You just try to ignore by looking down.
Adorning your hair with your fingers.
I could see shyness in your face.
You too try to know
What I am searching in your face.
It's not love at first sight
Just a joy which is behind every beauty.
Lifting your hand bag you walked away.
You looked back with a smile in your lip.
Still your face in front of me.
I too left the cafe.
One day I may meet you again
As a stranger.
World is small my dear.

Instinctual and evolutionary responses are augmented by societal indoctrinations of what is beauty and desirable. (love at first sight) Thanks for sharing Peace
