The Summit Dwellers Poem by Sumit Ganguly

The Summit Dwellers

Rating: 5.0

Some summit dwellers have,
Atop their holdings,
Flags with the symbols of crown, or
Hunter's eye, or
The single-horn rhino of Kaziranga.
The flags have no connection with any sewage
Or its breathing inhabitants
That run down-below.
The flags flutter,
And the owners float in the gust of wind.

And the owners float in the gust of wind - beautiful imagery. Sumit, many of us share the same feelings. And it is through our chosen words in our gift of poetry that we're able to share with so many. Thank you for sharing from your heart.
