The Sun Comes Shining Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

The Sun Comes Shining

S-ee the sun comes shining,
H-e bathes you with light;
E-arly morn has broken,
E-nding the chill of night.
N-ew dawm comes breaking, after the twilight is over;
A-nother day so beautiful allows your heart to feel better.

M-orning sun comes shining,
A-s the shadows disappear;
E-ventide has passed by, yielding to the total cheer.

T-he sun comes shining,
E-rasing the dark and gray;
R-ain is nowhere in view,
R-apture has filled the day.
A-llow the sun to shine,
Z-enith is always bright;
U-nderneath the blue sky,
L-et the beacon set things
A-right.

A-llow the sun to bring
N-othing but the glow;
Z-ones of radiant rays
A-re far away from sorrow.
N-either eye will turn blind to the heavenly blessing;
O-pen them to behold, the sun comes shining.
