The Tables May Turn (Resubmitted After Some Snafu) Poem by Vallerie Lobell

The Tables May Turn (Resubmitted After Some Snafu)

Rating: 5.0

Here you go again, you've broken my heart,
It's gonna be tough, but I won't fall apart,
For you never loved me like you should have,
To leave you first you know I could have,

But my love is true, I would not desert you,
I'd rathered be discarded than ever hurt you,
So wear your pride, hope it serves you well,
What lies ahead, no one can tell,

The day may come when you wear my shoes,
There may be a love you'll hate to lose,
And as you feel the hurt and shame,
You'll wish my love for you remained,

They say what goes around, comes around, Vallerie. A heartfelt poem here. By the way, what is 'snafu'? Love, Fran xx
