This Time I Didn'T Cry Poem by Vallerie Lobell

This Time I Didn'T Cry

Rating: 5.0

So many things I tried to say,
But trembling lips took my voice away,
I would always come undone
So then I just held my tongue,
The words trapped inside of me,
In fear I wondered how it would be,
But today the words flowed instead of the tears,
Silent no more, after all those years,
The ties that bound today were broken,
The freedom of the words spoken,
Gave me the joy money can't buy,
No longer living with others lies,
Because, this time, I did not cry,
