The Three Prophets - A Vision for a Troubled World

A prophet sat on a mountaintop meditating. When he opened his eyes, he saw all of God's splendour. Overcome with joy, he silently prayed for Mother Earth to be healed.

A second prophet sat in his office power napping. When he opened his eyes, he could faintly smell the roses he had bought for his wife. His tired eyes almost closed as he was driving home. He silently prayed for a raise in pay, so that he could keep up with the neighbours' power spending.

A third prophet observed the view from his penthouse. He was so proud that he owned so much of the real estate down below. He was so excited all of the time that he couldn't sleep. And neither power napping nor meditation were of any help to him. He was too busy for praying.

One day, the first prophet went into a very deep meditation. In it, he was able to see the second and third prophets. With an open and free mind, he extended a special gift to them that God had bestowed upon him.

After a month had passed, the first prophet went into his deepest meditation ever. He was able to see the progress that the second prophet was making. He silently prayed for that progress to be accelerated. But he could not see any progress from the third prophet. He prayed devoutly for that prophet's healing and accelerated progress.

After a year had passed, the first prophet was able to astral project to the second prophet's location. He smiled and greeted him as if they were brothers. Indeed, they were soul brothers. The second prophet's eyes had swollen with tears of joy as he recounted his learned lessons. As they hugged, they solemnly promised each other that they would help heal the third prophet.

Two years had now passed, and the two prophets could not see any progress from the third prophet. In fact, he was quickly deteriorating. He couldn't sleep. He couldn't eat properly. He was drinking himself to death. His wife had divorced him. His family had disowned him. His friends had deserted him.

The two prophets went into a guided meditation. In it, they could clearly see all of the evil that the third prophet had projected on all those in his life. He was guilty of abusing every single person in his life. He physically abused his wife and children. He emotionally abused his friends, employees and peers. He sexually assaulted women. And shockingly, he appeared to be above the law.

In the guided meditation, the two prophets encountered a Higher Power. They were informed that the third prophet was not a prophet at all. He was a false prophet. They were instructed to warn the world about him and other false prophets. The Higher Power then gave them a very special gift.

Ten years had now passed. In all those years, the two prophets were using that special gift that the Higher Power had given them. Because of it and them, the world was now so much better. Mother Earth began healing. Worldly wars were quickly decreasing. Terrorism was almost nonexistent.
