How soothing soft
And mellow
Some Poetry can be,
When all is coming
Down, around us
What comfort,
Sincere poems
Can really bring,
As of love and peace
They sing.

For no true Poet
Writes for evil,
Nor for what
ILL gotten, riches
And Catastrophe
Can bring.

Oh, if only
More, were wiser,
They would see
How much good
And Love,
And brotherhood
There is, in Poetry.
That really frees
The mind and spirit
To love and think
Spiritually.
