The Twilight Zone Poem by Neela Nath Das

The Twilight Zone

Rating: 5.0

The fatigued souls of the world
sticking to the cryptic joys
of the five glued senses chase
the destined goals,
as success is the bull's eye,
our only cherished destination,
and fame is the mirror to see
our faces in futurity.
You all scorched and blistered souls
come here,
at this Twilight Zone,
ceasing your feuds
to hug the pristine peace
of soul to bid good bye
to the turmoil of the cyclonic sea.
Beyond the ocean,
He waits to take charge
Of our burnt soul.
Before boarding on the boat bask your
soul leaving the lustful attire of the Earth.
We perambulate there at
Pied-a-terre as paunchy duffers,
deputizing the Cretins.
Here, venom turns to nectar
and hatred hides under
the selfless love's shelter.
We are, the dullard,
numb to intuitive spirituality.
We drink poison churning
our god-gifted lives!
Come here,
at this Twilight Zone.
Here mercy showers as rain.
Shape yourselves up
on the anvil of the smith
of all arts before reaching
your ultimate goal!
