The Uphill Climb Poem by Rhodesse Fanche

Life's path is steep,
The climb is not easy,
Challenges we face every day.
But God has a plan,
For each one of us.
He guides our steps,
If we trust and obey.

Some shy from the struggle,
Wanting only the prize of success.
They wish to avoid the pain,
The sweat and the tears.
Yet the journey is worth it,
If we persevere through the fears.

As Jeremiah 29: 11 declares,
'For I know the plans I have for you,
Plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
Plans to give you hope and a future.'

So keep moving forward,
One step at a time.
The summit is in view,
If you refuse to give up the climb.
For though the road is hard,
And the way is not clear,
With God leading the way,
Victory will one day appear.
