The Voice From The Past Poem by Ruta Mohapatra

The Voice From The Past

Someday you will be reading this
In solitude, sitting in some corner
After the days' work is done
To know what other people think

Know that they think the same thoughts
Down the ages, since the beginning of time
All have wondered about this life
Drawn their own conclusions and gone

Have no illusions child
The world has never been perfect
Nothing has happened to you
That did not happen to us

The world will never be perfect
Neither for your children, nor for theirs
It was never meant to be
But you know what

It is still the best world ever
It will be the only world ever
It will be your only life ever
Live it to the full

Yes! ! ! ! " The world will never be perfect" ! Under the muse of mankind! ! ! Full of wickedness. UNLESS WE CHANGE OUR HEARTS AND MINDS WITH RIGHTEOUS LAWS. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.

Beautiful poetry. Simple and with a message to the kids that the world will not going to change and they have to live as we are doing.Great thought. 'It is still the best world ever It will be the only world ever It will be your only life ever Live it to the full'... is so beautiful.10++++++ from me.
