It's always the worse,
The worse memories that we despise most.
The times, the places, the people
& situations we regret the most.
Things we replay over & over
That we could've done better.
No matter how much we run
It's always these moments that
Drive us.
No matter the amount of grief
No matter how much we want
To give up.
In the long run,
These are the moments that
Define us
