What is your worth?
Is it as good as diamonds?
Cut and polished,
To have been displayed,
With a price tag,
When you are changed,
From hand to hand,
is your price doubled?
What is your worth?
When you are a plasticized heavy rock,
And the beating hammers,
Are regularly broken and cracked,
Stubborn as the outer orbital,
Grouped in sheds of sunken bombs,
Crumbled on your own to be the sand,
Lie under the feet and have no value.
Lie under the feet and have no value...... nice lines...10 realize the worth when there is dearth of good people who rescues you from trouble
Beautifully presented. We may add Are you worth the penny you placed in the hands of the needy? . Thank you.
Great Poem. Indeed we sometimes value the wrong things and look where we've landed up. We arrive with nothing and depart the same way gathering of wealth does us no good.
