Twitter then meant the chirping of birds
and now it’s the instant exchanging of words.
Mouse then referred to a cat’s prey
but it’s got to do with a computer today.
Text then was used as a noun
and now as a verb by everyone.
Chatting then meant talking face to face
and now it is - communicating without a face.
Virus then meant only a germ
and now it’s a computer-related term.
Vaccine then was given only to mortals like you and me
and now it is given to computers routinely.
Technology then had prefix none
and now nano- is not just one.
These are just a handful of the thens and nows
There must be many more to raise your eyebrows.
I find myself trapped between the then and now
Oh Lord! Can you please rescue me somehow?

This poet is very good at 'Out of Box Thinking', making stupendous Creative Works. I think the Right Brain is very dominant with this poet. Appreciated.
