There Is Love Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

There Is Love

Rating: 5.0

There is love

There are two small dogs
they don't look like frogs
Certainly not, dear children
these animals have some special 'its'

most children really like puppies
especially puppies with some special 'its'
these are two small dogs
Of course, they don't look like frogs

the frogs are friendly animals in my garden
they are best friends with the cute puppies who are so fiery
they have known each other for a long time
the special 'being' of the puppies: their parents are huskies

I tell you now: frogs or dogs, big or small
it doesn't matter what they are, what they look like
as long as they want to be friends, so big
it's always okay because they have a great love in their hearts.

the puppies know that the frogs live in my garden
every morning they are near us with their boss
then they hear that the frogs are croaking
that way they know each other and like each other instantly

now you know, how they became friends
their love and good hearts inside they mixed
they are still teens, not yet twens
no matter what they are, puppies or frogs,
they have become friends!
