There Is So Much Music/And So Much Beauty In The Pain And Sadness
THERE IS SO MUCH MUSIC /AND SO MUCH BEAUTY IN THE PAIN AND SADNESS
There is so much music
And so much beauty in the pain and sadness
There is so much light and love in the world
So much happiness also
But today I am far away from all but the longing and the loneliness
The music that can soothe and make me forget for a time
Once in the light and the darkness a long time ago
There was the kind of love lovers dream of
That was so long ago
And almost all forgotten
And I know I will never know again
The greatest joy life can give
