There must be a place for a broken heart,
wherein it can recover.
To heal the hurt, and have a new start,
And forget old hurts and lovers.
There must be a place, for a soul to mend,
Some place silent and warm.
Where no one speaks, and you're your best friend,
A place to weather any storm.
If such a place doesn't exist it should,
It is long overdue.
For broken hearts and souls it'd be so good,
A place too heal the blue.
They say human beings need some bitter,
To accompany the sweet.
To mix some haze in with the glitter,
Maybe only, cause life is fleet?
Unfortunately this is a dream of mine,
It's not reality at all.
We were never meant, to be just fine,
Until our final curtain call.

unfortunately this is a dream of mine, It's not reality at all. We were never meant, to be just fine, Until our final curtain call. Yes there must be a place for a broken heart.. wishful thinking and a dream but in reality there are places for broken hearts if you have a love and a good friend.. tony
