There used to be a worm,
In that apple that you hold.
So please try not to squirm,
And please don't think I'm cold.
But now there's only half,
The other half has disappeared.
And I can't help but laugh,
If it's gone just where I fear.

The conception of two half of an apple reminds me another poem of Nazim Hikmot (Turky) . {please you consider the spelling of poets name, if not correct] But here in your writing...... 'THERE USED TO BE A WORM, / IN THAT APPLE THAT YOU HOLD'............ very superior by its inner sense which really irritates readers world of belief and trust. Beautiful. I will not forget these two lines at all. Thank you very much. Regards, pranab 10
