These Things
These things make me cringe
Bared teeth on dogs
The mud round those hogs
And tobacco stains on beards.
These things make me smile
A day that is long
Old Italian songs
And mini-skirts
These things make me cry
A child that is sad
Food when it's bad
And funerals.
These things make me laugh
The old Tonight Show
Larry, Curly, and Moe
And Red Skelton.
