They Began To Quarrel Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

They Began To Quarrel

Rating: 5.0

The first passer-by said,
'It's today, '
But the second passer-by said,
'It's tomorrow, '
They began to quarrel
In this regard,
Long time passed,
Suddenly the last passer-by shouted,
'It's neither today nor tomorrow,
It's only prosaic yesterday.'

A wonderful depiction of differences in perception that could create animosity or quarrel. A thought provoking poem.
