There are angels in this mortal veil.
Gems glittering in this world's grey shale.
Their lights shine out in this dark land,
Like a lighthouse's sparkle upon the sands.
They gleam with life and love,
Their presence is like something from above.
We love their soul's kindly glow,
We bask in their beauty's flow,
Yet they can't comprehend or know,
How much we love them so.
When they look into the mirror,
They only see a dim figure appear.
Like a shadow reflecting in the waters of the rain,
They only see the sinful sullied person and the pain.
They can't see that their eyes have lied.
They can't see what we see, the angel inside.

A very heartfelt and wonderful recognition of those who light the way with rays of hope, love and care. Indeed, they gleam with light and.love. Beautifully written tribute to mortal angels adorned with stunning images and poetic expressions as always.
There are indeed angels among us. We all know who they are, even if they don't.
