They Won't Stay Young Forever Poem by Lauren Coles

They Won't Stay Young Forever

Just like kids, dogs get older and grow up,
You might be looking to adopt a pet,
People take one look at the dogs and see them wagging their tails and it's a done deal,
But when they get home the fun begins,
They pee on everything and some people fly off the handle,
The shelter can only take so many dogs,
It makes me sick that some animals have to die but that's the reality of life.
