I spent a lot of time on my own, reading books,
and I like writing, creative thinking.
While my housemate enjoyed watching TV together,
I'd be hiding in my room.
I certainly wasn't a shy child; I put this down to being shy,
I preferred to be on my own more often than not.
I enjoyed being on my own,
I didn't feel anxious or embarrassed.
I just felt more comfortable and relaxed on my own.
I'd just started freelancing and went to as many local
networking event.
But I found it challenging to process and think of responses quickly with all the chatter distracting me.
It felt like my brain short-circuited with so much going on,
and after, I felt so drained.
I learned of introversion that everything clicked.
Whereas for me, introversion is about energy, stimulation,
and how I process information.
But I'm not here to debate that
"I self-identify as an introvert".
So well expressed. Yes Being an introvert mainly about how one regains the energy and wants to have time to process information. to me self reliance becomes an important factor of being an introvert..
