This Has Become Reality Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

This Has Become Reality

Many will lie about everything to anyone.
From what they have done not to be true.
Then argue about it with another,
Who disputes what is told.
To have the truth heard disbelieved.
That is the power liars have these days.
And this has become reality.

Lieing for many has had for them benefits.
They live to make up,
Their own experiences.
To involve family members and others,
Not aware of being included...
In deluded tales embellished.

Leaving the ones with evidence,
And documentation of their lives discovered.
Thought to be liars as well.
If they are not known to brag about,
The truth of their accomplishments.
Or the success they have achieved.
Just being themselves.
