i watch the dew drops hanging
onto the blades of grass
dancing, sparkling and slipping
like tiny bulbs of glass
i watch the dew drops falling
down and slowly disappear
without a noise and wetting the
ground not again to appear
i watch the life hanging onto
the silently passing time
melting away like a dew drop
without a soothing rhyme
That's a lovely portrait of nature with morning dew in the centre stage. And the dew lives up to its analogy with melting nature of time. Thanks, Anil ji.
The title, 'This Life Is Like A Dew Drop', is a beautiful metaphor. The verses rhyme well, and if I may suggest, if you edit the last word of the second stanza and make it 'reappear' instead of just 'appear', it would rhyme better, and be more meaningful too.
