This Moment Is Forever Poem by Will Barber

This Moment Is Forever

Rating: 5.0

The universe is a vast river,
The rain is very cold;
There is no reason to persist:
This moment is forever.

Come, call the Master of Æthers,
Prince of the Air, sovereign;
Summon him if you need reason to go on
Although this moment is forever.

Lady in white walks by the river,
Beckoning me into the future:
Beauty impels me to follow,
Since this moment is forever.

Sadness and beauty are unending. Touched by the fact there is no reason to persist.

Beautifully written Will! I loved the imagery. This moment is forever because you made it last forever with those words. Peace, Aisha

A most profound write Will. Does the lady still accompany you? Interesting that you wrote this such a long time ago but it still remains timeless. HG: -) xx

Genuinely awesome - dancing with the inexpressible, flowing into and with the divinity of the universe. You've captured something very commanding and also supremely sad in the heart of the forever moment in this, or in the heart of man, Will. Beautiful work. jim
