Those childhood days of daisy chains
Buttercups and ponytails,
Sunshine on the window pane,
Splashing in puddles in the pouring rain.
Counting stars,
Tadpoles in jars,
Holidays with ma and pa,
Rainbows glowing from afar.
Cinema nights,
School yard fights,
Memories,
Playing, in snow so white.
These are the days,
We cherish like gold,
Those days of our childhood,
Those memories of old.
