Those Lonely Hearts Poem by Sandra Feldman

Those Lonely Hearts

Lonely Hearts,
Do fall apart,
They don't seem,
Easily, to restart,
They take lost love,
Too seriously,
Are faithful,
Suffer terribly,
Cannot from memories,
Disembark,
Or light love's candle,
In the dark.

Those Lonely Hearts,
Have lost their way,
For all they have is,
Yesterday.

A light-hearted rhyme eases the truthful tragedy of this piece.

Bull's-eye Kelly, ...the truthful tragedy..., exactly! Beautifully said, thank you.
