Those That Do Not In Anyway Hurt Me When They Were Gone. Poem by RIC BASTASA

Those That Do Not In Anyway Hurt Me When They Were Gone.

Rating: 5.0

i know deep within me
that it was never love.

it faded like my blue jeans.
it vanished like a fog sitting upon a hill.

i know it was not love but it was
delicious, and warm and so comforting.

but time is testing my own waters and
there love sailed like a dead leaf

in that far distance it becomes a haze
and then everything turns into melting space.

there is no light in the candle and there
is no moon in that dark sky anymore.

I am so sorry, i take advantage of feelings
those that do not last within me those

that i let go and those that do not in anyway
hurt me when they were gone.

It was never love and it was faded like a jeans. But time tasting water and breeze. Movement of love amazes mind. An excellent poem is shared...10
