Thrawarted Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Thrawarted

What power is that one claims to have.
If those who question their support of it.
Are cast aside to demean and minimize.
By one indecisive.
Thrawarted with a diseasing ego to please.
And overwhelmed mentally,
With unbearable distraught released continually.
What power is this.
One self inflicts as if to wish defeat.
And still to witness it.
In disbelief one could be this insane.
