Three Indian Poems Poem by Ravi Kopra

Three Indian Poems

How beautiful you are!
Your eyes are like deer's.
Your walk of an elephant.
And skin color of sunshine, of milk.

The peacock is dancing in the rain,
It wishes to mate.
And I am thinking of you.

Your face looks like moon's
on the 14th rising day.
In your heart flows the river Ganges
in mine the river Yamuna.
Beloved tell me,
When will our marriage consumate?
