Three Pigeons Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Three Pigeons

Rating: 5.0

Three pigeons
Sat on a roof
Of an old building
Not so tall.

One sat aloof
Searching for something
One pecked the other
One wing raised.

I could hear
The cooing sound
Pretty it felt
And friendly too.

Messenger you were
You served with zest
Message you deliver
I wish to find.

Pigeons on the roof
Had a great time
I too enjoyed
The joyous company.

In a moment they flew
One after one
The roof felt lonely
And myself too.

The cooing sound of pigeons is pretty and we hear through your great poem of perception here with nice imagery. Pigeons are messengers and helpful. They deliver nice message to us. They fly one after another and reach up to their destination. An excellent poem is well presented...10
