Through Your Eyes - Poem by Sadiqullah Khan

Through your eyes, to your landscape,
Elegantly understated, interspersed,
The daisies into your fragrant hair -
O you lover of the purple royale,
Do they know, from where harbo'r,
Else my imagination would not take
Fancy upon your modest mien -
The mystic love of the desertions,
And deserts offer solace to torments
Mysterious vigils, where nights,
Darker and days brighter, colors intense,
Or on coal burn incense, flagons fill,
Till the rising come, let us drink in wild.
