Tick Tock - Tick Tock Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Tick Tock - Tick Tock

Tick Tock - Tick Tock

I have reached my golden years and time, 'passing quickly'
Finds me so often, lost in 'a sip of silence', thinking of what
Is to come and then find I am caught in remembrances of
Yesterday's passions resounding like 'an echo heard' of your
Laughter which 'lingers still' like the music from a softly strummed guitar.

That is nice. After so many years laughter still lingers as if it has happened not long. Liked it.
