As you leave now, take my heart with you
I reach out to touch the warmth one last time
Before its only a memory
To feel your arms around me

As you kiss me goodbye, a part of me wants you to stay
And another part of my soul knows that you have to go
And conquer challenges unknown.
Go forth my dear, conquer all
I will not cry, but long for you with every breath I take
Till we are united again
