Time Out Poem by jerry hughes

Time Out

What fantasies will I imagine
in deep anaesthetic narcosis.
A trip to the moon on gossamer wings?
Or something I won't remember?
More likely the latter, unless the anaesthetist
sneaks a dropp of acid into the line.

I hope it's good or been good if taken place already. Wishing you all the best and a great get well. Margery.

Hi Jerry, So you suspect your anaesthetist may be someone with strong ties to Cole Porter...and Timothy Leary....? ? ! ! .....In any case you shall have a fine trip......and shall soon be home again...breathing peacefully and happily.....next to your sweetheart.......treasuring your love together.......whilst the critters welcome your return with purrs and woofs..........all shall be well.........talk with you soon...... healing howls....aooowhooaaoooowhooaooo.....! ! Love, D. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

A trip to the moon on gossamer wings? - Now I'd like to see that. A poignant little number about a significant 'second chance'. Love to my D. E. Allie Pie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
