TIME THOUGHTS

Time is neither against us, nor is it
for us!
It flows in its own dimension at its own
desired pace!
It never exhibits any elation, when in some
distant constellations,
Baby galaxies take birth,
Or when humans are born on this earth!
Time never batters an eyelid when humans
die,
Or when it sees the death of an old star, -
As supernova explodes in the depths of
the sky!
Yet we learn to honour time to meet our
desired ends,
In this evanescent and ephemeral life!
From our birth till our death, we learn to
live and move within specified time,
Never daring to step outside its magical
bounds,
As long as we breathe and are alive!
While the flow and tide of time moves on,
To be consumed in the fathomless depths
of eternity!
And we humans move with time's flow to
our destined ends!
With some calling it 'Maya' or illusion;
And others, as a slice of reality that humans
are destined to taste!
