(inspired by Bradley Delaney's long gaze into the cold empty spaces surrounding warm memories*)

Maybe it is time to collect these ruminations into a manuscript. An investigator of the future may want to trace the precise points where the basic map of a someone's spatio- temporal surroundings was elaborated into a mental flight. These flights give evidence that the cosmos is budding worlds within worlds... The tree of life is ripening a fruit that contains an inner expansion... It's not just waking up to find out that one is the eyes of the world, it's finding oneself gestating a world that begins to dissolve just as it matures. The fruit tries to implode marvelously into an inner expanse. But the medium of thought, being rooted in a bud of life that is tenuous and beleaguered to begin with, tends to regularize its products and shore up their authority. This becomes a structure designed to contain future flights and bog them down. But the best exercises of thought happen when it follows updrafts that blow towards the budding of its own cherished proto-world.

{* Here is the text of Brad's rumination that sparked mine: 'There is a moment, I think, when we all look back across the cosmos of our time living on this planet like astronomers searching the midnight sky where it is said all of what we see is from the long and distant past, and consider the feelings we have for others against a backdrop of immense wondering and thoughts filling the sunrise with sunset serenades and winter time warm melting afternoons, hopes of found chance in a vast expanding universe we seem to be beneficiary of, that of which we are tied to with our now, our present, and our ill fated future in a mixture of a clinical space lab experiments and and the tender bleeding heart.'}
